    Vermogensongelijkheid neemt nog steeds toe, Ierland sterker uit crisis na drastische hervormingen, aandelenkoersen stijgen naar recordhoogte door stimulerend beleid centrale banken en Wereldbank is somberder over economie Azië. Verder in het nieuws: Zowel in Duitsland als in Rusland willen handelsrelatie weer herstellen, China en Zuid-Afrika gaan in eigen valuta handelen en veel goudmijnen nog steeds in de problemen door lagere goudprijs.
