Door een goede beschikbaarheid van yuan en euro’s te garanderen stimuleren e ECB en de PBOC het gebruikt van hun eigen munt als alternatief voor de dollar. Ook draagt de valutaswap bij aan het waarborgen van de stabiliteit op de financiële markten.
